・Basic specs are almost the same as BT-01F.
・BT-01R has the round type rim of BT-01F. Surprisingly, it sounds totally different, even with almost identical specs. BT-01F has a bright, rich and strong sound. This mouthpiece harks back to the countryside of Europe with a sweetness of sound while still capable of wide dynamic contrast.

The CBT-01, which enables an inspiring and rich tone-colour, has been thoroughly researched from the most popular mouthpieces in the world. Rich dynamics can be produced with little effort. However, we never make a mere “Imitation Model,” for we have spent lots of time thinking about why these mouthpieces are so popular. We then put the “Spirit of Volare" into the making of this new model. The throat/pipe size is not too thick. Each sound is totally equal. With ease of control in all registers, it provides a very rich acoustic sound. CBT-01 is recommended if you have trouble choosing a mouthpiece.

・Easy control due to a bore which is not too thick.

CBT-GH8 was created for German-type sound. Of course, it suits large B-flat tubas, but it also makes a great fit for large C tubas (eg; York Model). Providing a dark sound with rich core, the response in its low range will makes you smile and say, “That’s it!” As an example, the CBT-GH8 model will help you perform Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkryies” with consistent intonation and clarity on each 16th note. If you find larger mouthpieces generally more difficult to control, this will be a dream come true!
